So, I'm a little disappointed this year, as it appears that there is almost nothing of interest going on for Independence day. No airshows, no parades (that are good anyways), no special events at any of the gun ranges, and barely any fireworks. The next airshow at Hill AFB isn't even gonna happen 'till 2014! Phooey.
On the bright side, I am going to go see Despicable Me 2 later tonight with a few friends and their kids, so we'll see how that goes. I really liked the first one, so I expect it to be pretty good.
