While at work the other day, my whole department got an email from HR stating that we all had to attend a mandatory meeting for sexual harassment training, since no one there has had it yet. So, we all cringed at the thought and carried on until we got another email from HR. They came to the realization that this meeting would be near unbearably excruciating, and so they offered to buy us lunch as a bribe to keep us from skipping out or sleeping through the meeting. The email looked something like this (with portions highlighted for emphasis):
And of course, I answered with what I believed to be an appropriate response:
HR was not amused.
